| When Roberto Clemente rose as a shooting star in baseball it meant much more then a young mans dream realized. He become a figure of pride to his fellow countrymen and Hispanics in and out of the US.
When Stephen Holland painted Clemente's portrait, he knew this too would mean more than a portrait of a great Pittsburgh Pirate, but would be a tribute to a sacred soul. |
